Since 2021, there are design requirements on how much new light sources may flicker as flickering lights contribute to fatigue, headaches and other negative health effects. Today, LED-strips are popular as general lighting on construction sites, but unfortunately, LED-strips that are connected to the normal electric mains generate a flickering light. To remedy this, Mareld has developed a flicker-free driver. By connecting the driver with the LED-strip, you get flicker-free lighting and a healthier working environment. The driver can be connected to LED strips in series up to 100 meters. With the driver plugged in, energy consumption is also reduced.
