  • Things to consider when choosing a work lamp

Before choosing a work lamp, think through what you will mainly use the work lamp for and which properties and functions are most important to you in order to perform at your best.

If you are going to use it outdoors, you need to choose a lamp that has an IP rating x5 or higher. (It is the second number in the IP number that indicates water resistance.)

What does the electricity supply look like where you work?

Do you need a rechargeable lamp or an electric one, or one that can be powered by both battery and electricity?

Do you need to illuminate one surface or 360 degree light diffusion?

Is it important to be able to regulate the color temperature?

How large is the typical area are you need to illuminate and how much light do you need? The number in Mareld's product name indicates how many lumens the product has. The higher the number, the more light.

Do you want the work lamp to be mounted on a stand, hung from a hook, stand on the floor or clamped to scaffolding or similar?

In Mareld's assortment you can find work lamps for your specific needs.

Work lights for the construction site

On construction sites, lots of activities are often carried out at the same time, with many people moving around and perform different tasks. During autumn and winter, much of the work is also carried out in harsh weather conditions and in the dark. This requires good work lighting to ensure that everyone can perform at their best.

We have selected some products from our range that are especially suitable for construction sites whether it’s outdoors or indoors.
