What is colour rendering?

High colour rendering is important for a lamp's light to reproduce natural colours. It is important for painting and varnishing and other jobs that require the light to reproduce natural colours.

Color rendering is specified in CRI (Color Rendering Index) or Ra. Depending on the choice of LED, the color rendering can normally vary from ​60 to 95.

CRI/Ra 90-100 Excellent color rendering
